Matthew and Deanna met online in April 2020 and had an instant connection, bonding over music, hobbies and travelling. They had their first date in person at Island Lake, Orangeville, ON. Shortly afterwards they became a couple that August. They spent lots of time together watching movies, playing games, going on trips, and shortly realized they were meant to be. After a few months, Deanna moved to Orangeville with Matthew in December 2020, where they have lived with each other ever since. On August 23rd, 2025, Matthew took Deanna back to Island Lake, where they had their first date, and asked her to be with him forever.
